We have eight cottages four of which are relatively recently built to a high standard, anf of the other four, two have been refurbished towards Five Star and are situated in the very large farmhouse with there own entrances. All the cottages are extremely well equipped and are furnished to a high standard with comfortable beds and furniture. See bottom of this page for list of equipment included. Guests comment on how peaceful and tranquil it is, even though we are only a few miles from town. It helps having a half mile private drive!

We welcome visitors of all ages, Our activity field is equipped with a basketball net, volley ball and badminton, golf driving net and 5 a side football net. Outside play area for children with swings, slide and adult size trampoline with safety net.

This is a very popular cottage and is particularly good for couples

This is our most private cottage with a garden and an abundance of wildlife to view from the conservatory. Note this cottage is approached by a path and a set of outside steps.

‘Angler’s Rest’ - Sleeps 4-6 +2

  • 2 or 3 Bedrooms (3rd bedroom adjoining with Oaktree Cottage), king-size/twin, adult size bunk beds, double (3rd bedroom),  additional 2 on z- beds in lounge and bedroom.
  • Washroom/shower/ WC upstairs and a downstairs WC
  • Lounge with sofas, armchair, etc. with door opening onto patio area
  • Large kitchen/diner with table to seat up to 10

  • Dedicated outside store cupboard for fishing tackle and other equipment
  • Excellent views across rolling hills and Dartmoor to the west and lakes to the east

All cottages and apartments have the following equipment provided: Electric hob, turbo oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, cafeteria, cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery, etc ,torch, TV, video CD/cassette/radio, steam iron, ironing board, hair dryer and patio furniture. All have central heating (we sometimes provide an additional portable electric heaters). There is an on-site laundry facility with coin operated washing machines, tumble dryers plus rotary lines. Charcoal bar-bee-ques.

Free use of neighbouring indoor heated swimming pool.
